Al Ain
Al Ain can be visited with a day tour from Dubai. During this tour many stops are made. Al Ain has the oldest excavations of the UAE which are from the 3rd millennium before Christ in the Hili Archaeological Park. The excavations and ruins are in a quite but a nice park.
Another stop which is worth is the Camel Market where the local people buy their camels. It’s told that next to the market a factory is where they can slaughter the camel so it can be prepared for dinner. It’s a lively area where people buy their camels from their big cars. It looks like a drive-in market.
Other sights to visit are the Al Jahili Fort and the Al Ain Oasis and the trip can be finished with the old palace of Sheikh Zayed.
