The highlight of your visit to Lebanon is a visit to the famous ancient ruins of Baalbek. The well preserved Temple of Bacchus is the biggest structure which is for a big part still like it was in the ancient times of the Romans. Other remains are impressive too and the site contains a large museum to at the end of your visit. From the Cola Intersection in Beirut, it’s about two hours by direct minibus to get there.

On the same day it is possible to visit on your way back to Beirut the ruins of Anjar.
