Masada, Ein Gedi and Dead Sea
From Jerusalem a combined visit can be made to the ruins of Masada, Ein Gedi and the Dead Sea in a day tour. Without a rental car, an organised tour from Jerusalem is your best option. I stayed in Abraham hostel which offers a lot of tours that were cheaper than a lot of regular tours which were offered. In October weather is still good and temperatures can still reach 36 degrees at the Dead Sea. In short a perfect day to see history in Masada and nature in Ein Gedi and at the Dead Sea.
