In October 2014 I’ve visited Israel and the Palestinian Territories for two weeks. The ticket for my flight was booked two weeks in advance because it’s a dynamic region. During my holiday there was the Jewish holiday Sukkot. Normally this shouldn’t be a problem but in Israel, they like traditions and holidays. Because the first and last day of the holiday, it is Shabbat and there’s no public transport in Jewish cities. In Arabic cities like Nazareth people still work and there’s public transport. So very essential to keep this in mind for the planning of a trip, especially if you use public transport.
