Masaya
The city Masaya has one of the most famous active volcanos in Nicaragua which can be visited easily on a trip from Granada. There’re tours during the day or in the evening. The last one is the better one when you want to see the lava. The first one if you want to see the surrounding area. If you’ve visited for example Cerro Negro near León and hiked there you might better choose for the night tour. It includes a visit to the museum with an explanation of the guide.
