One of the highlights is a trip to the Galapagos Islands. In September 2018 it’s was very easy to arrange by yourself. Only be prepared compared to the mainland excursions are in general four times more expensive. Accommodations are there for every budget. Dinner is about twice the price compared to the rest of Ecuador. Fish and seafood are cheaper. It’s the place to eat affordable grilled lobster for about USD 20.

Many people asked is the Galapagos Island possible to do with an organisation and by yourself. The answer is yes but you’ll have to book some day tours to the most beautiful en uninhabited islands which are on average between USD 120 – USD 180.
