In 2017 I’ve made a combined trip to Chile and Bolivia. The visit to each country was about 12 days. My visit to Chile was to Santiago, Valparaíso and the northern part of the country. I went there the end of March and Patagonia is then not an option anymore because of the weather and the low season. Apart from buses, two domestic flights have been made to save some time in this not travellers friendly shaped country.
