Tiwanaku
From La Paz it’s possible to visit the ruins of Tiwanaku. There are ruins of an old Inca city and there’s also a museum where archaeological excavations are exhibited. The day tour is including a guide but in my experience, it would be nice if you could switch him off sometimes. Information was too detailed and it’s a holiday and not a college. The day tour is still worth to consider and the best to do on Sunday when a lot of shops are closed in La Paz which is the case in whole South America.
