3,5 hours by bus from Potosi is Sucre located. La Paz can be reached by overnight bus in 12 hours and for an affordable price of just over EUR 40,- there’s is a flight between La Paz and Sucre ( 50 minutes) with a decent air carrier. Sucre has a good atmosphere because of its colonial buildings and is well known for the declaration of independence in Bolivia in Casa de Libertad. For Bolivian standards, it is also a city where they have good restaurants.
