Sevastopol is a city at the Black Sea which is an important harbour for Russia. This was already in 2012 the case when I visited Crimea. Apart from the city and the bay, the place offers the ancient ruins of Chersonesos. It’s an excellent place to stay two or three nights to visit the surrounding area.
