Odessa
Odessa is famous for the old city centre, the beaches and the Potemkin stairs. To be honest for the city a visit of one day is enough. The second day I’ve made a trip to the underground catacombs. But if you participate in this tour ask your guide before if there is a museum included. Because otherwise you’ll visit the catacombs with headlights and unregulated. Not the most comfortable excursion if you realise that you’ll have to crawl through a huge network of narrow passageways without a map.
Odessa is an excellent spot to take a bus to Chisinau, the capital of Moldova.
