Sigtuna

Sigtuna is a traditional Swedish village which is located around 40 kilometres outside Stockholm. This short distance makes it an easy day tour. After this tour, I’ve stayed overnight in Märsta. This place can be reached by train from Stockholm in less than half an hour. From Märsta you can take a local bus to Sigtuna which takes about 15 minutes to get there. In this village, you can see traditional old wooden houses and a small traditional city hall. It’s one of the more touristic areas in Sweden to visit. Apart from the traditional houses en buildings, the village is next to a lake. There is a panoramic view of the forests and the surrounding nature.
