Uzice

The city Uzice is in southwestern Serbia and has about 80.000 inhabitants. The city is not really impressive but it’s a place to stay overnight to visit nature in the surrounding area. Restaurants are in Uzice quite limited and pizza is in the majority of restaurants the most important main course. The park and river are nice places to walk. The ruins of the castle look more impressive from a distance when the city is approached by car.

Belgrade can be reached from Uzice by bus in 3 – 4 hours.
