Things to do in Sinaia
Sinaia is a mountain resort and has a number of sights to visit. The most famous ones are Peleș Castle and Pelișor Castle which are located at the same spot. Both are Neo-Renaissance castles in the Carpathian Mountains. Both castles are just a short walk outside Sinaia. But a warning before when you go in August. Go as early as possible. The later your arrival is, the longer the queue will be. There are tourists which consider Peleș Castle being one of the most important sights in Romania. Just keep in mind there are organized day tours from Bucharest too to this place.
In addition in Sinaia, you have some notable buildings like Sinaia Monastery, Sinaia Casino, and Sinaia train station.

Sinaia is located between Bucharest and Brașov. In case accommodation options are limited in Sinaia your best option is to stay in Brașov which is about 45 minutes by direct train.
