Things to do in Brașov
Brașov is one of the highlights in Romania. The city has a beautiful old town and it is surrounded by mountains which invite for a hike. The best panoramic view is offered from Muntele Tampa which has a cable car. In the city centre highlights are Piața Sfatului, the Council Square and Black Church, Biserica Neagră.
Outside the city a rewarding day tour can be made to Sinaia or Bran and Râșnov.
Connections
Brașov is located about two hours from Bucharest by train and is well-connected to Sinaia, Sibiu, and Sighișoara. For these three destinations, the train is the most convenient way of traveling.
