Things to do in Bran and Râșnov
Bran and Râșnov are two well-known tourist destinations in Romania. Bran is famous because of the castle and its connection with Dracula. Apart from that, it is an important landmark and a nice place to visit. The museum and the castle are quite small and can be combined with Râșnov’s citadel. This place can be visited the way back to Brașov. The bus will drive through the village and then it is a short walk to the city centre and the citadel. The walk uphill is easy and when needed during my visit there was a tourist train too. The 13th-century citadel gives a little bit the feeling of a small old village. Bran is about one hour by bus and Râșnov is halfway back to Brașov.
Connections
Bran and Râșnov can both be visited from Brașov by public bus in a day tour. From Brașov to Bran is about an hour and Râșnov is in between both places.
