Alba Iulia has a huge citadel and fortress structure from the Middle Ages. This comes together with old historic buildings like churches, ruins, and a changing guard ceremony. The area is large, well-preserved, and pleasant to wander around so you can easily enjoy the full day and go late afternoon back to Sibiu.
