Things to do in Warsaw
Warsaw is Poland’s capital and a perfect place for a city trip. Warsaw has been destroyed during the Second World War. After this war, the whole old town in Warsaw was restored. Hard to imagine nowadays is the past of this city. The city’s colorful buildings, narrow streets, and squares in the old town offer a pleasant ambiance and invite for just a walk around. There in Warsaw are at least two important places not to miss. First, a visit to the castle is one of the things which you should do. Second is a climb on the tower Taras Widokowy, which offers the best panoramic view of Warsaw’s old town.
Connections
Warsaw has many connections to other parts of Poland like Gdansk or Kraków. I used the international airport for my visit. From the airport, you can take the train to downtown Warsaw. In case you have a long layover like I had a visit is recommended.
