Valletta and the Three Cities

Valletta is the capital of Malta and it’s grown together with the other surrounding villages. It’s a nice village to stroll around and enjoy the views on the harbour and the old buildings. There are good restaurants and one thing to eat on Malta is their national dish rabbit. In the aspect of sights the saluting battery is something not to be missed and the St. John’s Cathedral is impressive as well.

Just next to Valletta are the three cities Birgu, Senglea and Cospicua situated. All three cities are a nice day tour from Valletta and can be all visited within one day. Theye’re all connected by each other in walking distance and well connected by public bus. They offer nice views on Valletta, old traditional harbours, an ancient fortress and atmospheric streets.

Birgu which is one of the Three Cities.
