Gozo and Comino

The country Malta has three islands: Malta, Gozo and Comino. Gozo is habited and much smaller than the main island. Comino is inhabited but can be visited by private boat from Gozo. Offers you’ll get when you arrive on Gozo. In the low season in December 2015, the price was EUR 15,- for a two-way transfer and one hour on the island. Totally this experience will last about two hours and this is very well spent money during a visit. In low season you’ll have the island by yourself and can enjoy the views on the blue water.

On Gozo the main village to stay is Victoria or it’s called Rabat as well. If you don’t have a car this is the place to stay, because attractions are connected by public transport but less frequent than on the main island. But it’s still possible with some smart planning. Definitely the ruins of the temples of Ġgantija deserve a visit. As well the citadel in Victoria. The Azure Window was in 2015 really a beautiful place to visit but has been collapsed, so better check if you want to see it in the current condition.
