Dublin

Dublin is an atmospheric city to visit for a city trip or during your holiday. During a holiday in Ireland, it pays off not to plan your stay at the weekend. Accommodations are from Sunday until Wednesday much cheaper with about 40 % price difference sometimes. A visit to the traditional Temple Bar District with the Irish pubs is more or less mandatory. Another option is an excursion to the Guinness Storehouse. It was a little bit disappointing because the museum was more focused on Guinness’s history and advertising instead of the brewery process. More appealing is the Dublinia museum which has an exhibition about Dublin’s history. This can be visited with a combination ticket together with the Christ Church Cathedral.
