Trikala and Meteora

Trikala is a city in central Greece which is an excellent spot to stay two nights. One day you can explore the city. The other day a visit to Meteora can be made. The place with the famous monasteries is only about 25 kilometres and a short trip by public bus. In Meteora you can take a tour or make a walk between the monasteries. The landscape where the monasteries are situated is a nice place for hiking.
