Things to do in Mestia
Mestia is a place to stay for three nights. Around the village, an easy but nice walk can be made to the Chalaati glacier. Until the glacier, the trail is quite flat. On the glacier, a little bit more hiking skills are needed.
Connections
Mestia is a little bit isolated. There are connections to Zugdidi and Ushguli. The last one is an excellent day trip from Mestia.
