Things to do in Sevan
Sevan Lake offers apart from its lake and nature, different sights that are worth visiting. Sevanavank, Hayravank and Noratus.
Sevanavank is the famous monastery complex which is located next to the lake. From the complex there are panoramic views of Lake Sevan. In Sevanavank you can also arrange your transport by taxi for visiting Hayravank and Noratus. Hayravank is a monastery too but compared to Sevanavank much smaller and has only a few tourists. Noratus has a famous historic cemetery.
Connections
You can reach Sevan from Yerevan on a day tour. The duration of the trip is from Armenia’s capital less than one hour by public minibus. From Sevan, it is less than 45 minutes to continue to Dilijan.
