Things to do in Goris
Goris is located in the far east of Armenia and is an excellent place to stay at least two nights. On your day of arrival, you can visit Old Goris. This is a site with medieval cave dwellings and there are plenty of hiking opportunities. Old Goris is just a short walk outside the centre of modern Goris.
On the second day, you can make an excursion to Tatev cable car, its monastery, and continue to the ruins of Sisian.
Connections
Goris is on the main road to Yerevan and is located about 230 kilometres from the capital. The town can be reached by minibus or shared taxi. The latter option is the most convenient one and compared to the minibus not much more expensive.
