Things to do in Dilijan
Dilijan is a spa and resort town that apparently even has an old city centre. To be honest I was not really impressed by the town. Apart from Dilijan, there are two options to explore this region. The first one is hiking in nature. As a second choice, you can visit the monasteries of Goshavank and Haghartsin. I have visited the monasteries and could enjoy the surrounding nature on my way to these places.
There is no reliable public transport to both monasteries, so the best thing to do is to arrange a taxi in Dilijan.

You can reach Dilijan from Yerevan on a day tour. The duration of the trip is from Armenia’s capital just over one and a half hour by public minibus. You will pass Sevan on your way. From Sevan, it is less than 45 minutes to continue to Dilijan.
