Seoul

Seoul is the capital of South Korea and by far the biggest city with about 11 million inhabitants. It offers castles, parks and temples to visit. Highlights are the palaces:  Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, Changdeokgung, Deoksugung which can be visited with a combination ticket. At Gyeongbokgung there’s a colourful ceremony when the guards are changed. All the palaces are situated in parks which are relaxed to walk around.

Apart from the palaces and parks there’re enough places to walk around. Cheonggyecheon is for example a good place and for a food experience you can go to the Gwanjang Market. Nearby the Gwangjang Market there’re also some restaurants which have dog soup on the menu. Something special to try in South Korea and it tastes excellent.
