Gangneung

Gangneung is a city which offers a couple of temples like Seongyojang and Ojukheon. The city is also a good spot to stay if you want to visit the caves of Samcheok which are at a relatively short distance and are worth a day tour by public bus. Two nights stay is a minimum. For the city itself not much time is needed because apart from the temples it’s just an ordinary Korean city.
