Things to do in Macau

Macau is a former Portuguese colony and nowadays a special administrative region of China. It has a historic colonial centre and the largest casinos in the world. The revenues which are made here are much higher than for example in Las Vegas. But if you don’t gamble there is enough to see to make a stopover for two nights. In November there are also the famous car and motor races on one of the most challenging street circuits on the world.

At night Macau is the most beautiful because all the buildings have colorful lights on them. Especially when it’s clouded it’s better to make your pictures at night. Weather in April can be moderate, the best season is to visit this area around November. For the casinos, it doesn’t matter if you enter during the day or at night because the whole day people are gambling.

Connections

Macau has an international airport which is connected by low-cost airlines companies and apart from that there’s the Turbo Jet. An ultra-fast ferry connection between Macau and Hong Kong.
