Things to do in Kunming / Shilin
About 90 kilometres outside Kunming is the Shilin Stone Forest. The Stone Forest has limestone rock formations and is about 500 square kilometres. The tall rocks arise from the ground and they look like stalagmites and trees. You can walk between the rock formations. In the park there is accommodation to stay for the night.
Connections
During my trip in China, I have made a stop when I moved from Dali to Guilin and Yangshuo. Kunming is an ordinary city that has good connections to the other parts of China.
