Introduction to South Korea
In 2015 I’ve visited South Korea for 2,5 weeks, combined with a stopover in Dubai for two days. An easy country to travel around by yourself by bus most of the times. If you go to Jeju Island you’ll have to book a domestic flight and for this, it is good to look around because it can save a lot of money.
South Korea is a modern Asian country that can be compared with Japan. It’s slightly cheaper, food is about the same but taxis are much more affordable with 1/3 of the Japanese price. At some places it’s needed to book an organized tour, especially the tour to the DMZ should be booked a couple of days in advance because of security checks they want to make.
