Things to do in Kazbegi
The area around Kazbegi is a major hiking area in Georgia. For instance, a hike of about 22 kilometres can be made in the Truso Valley. To do this you have to arrange transport in Kazbegi.
From the village of Kazbegi, a hike of about 8 kilometres can be made to the Gergeti Trinity Church. This church is located in the mountains and from here there is a fantastic wide panoramic view of the surrounding area. You will need two full days to do both hikes.
