Piran
Piran is one of the smallest Slovenian coastal villages and a gem not to miss. It is well-maintained there are some sights to visit too. For example the old city wall, Tartini Square or Saint George’s Church, and the Franciscan Monastery.
Piran is well-connected by public bus to Koper and being honest you don’t want to enter the historical centre and its narrow streets with your own or rental car. In high season the parking outside the old town was fully occupied with cars too.
