Things to do in Mogoșoaia and Snagov
Snagov offers the colorful Snagov Monastery. Apart from the decorations, the monastery is the grave of Vlad the Impaler. Vlad was the base of Dracula’s stories. The second stop after Snagov is the 17th-century Mogoșoaia Palace. The inside is not too impressive. Outside the views are much better and there is a park and garden to walk around which offer views of different angles on the palace.
Connections
Mogoșoaia and Snagov can be visited by a half-day tour from Bucharest. These places are just outside Bucharest but to visit them both on one day with public transport can be a hassle so an organized trip is a good option.
