Seljalandsfoss and Jökulsárlón

Seljalandsfoss and Jökulsárlón are visited on the same day tour which takes part in the southwestern part of Iceland. Seljalandsfoss is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland. The water drops down about 65 meters. It’s a nice photo stop and there are some possibilities to walk around over there. During winter there is a lot of ice surrounding the waterfall.

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lake is the second stop and is really breathtaking during Winter. Only the trip to the lake takes quite a while and be prepared that there no boat trips are possible in December.

Next to the lake is Diamond Beach where pieces of ice are in the black sand.
