Jeju Island

Jeju is an island and famous for nature and the famous rock statues called dol hareubangs. The island is small so the central place to stay is Jeju city and from there the public transport is well connected to most of the sights. It’s worth to consider a day tour which are offered to the volcano of Seongsan Ilchulbong in combination with the lava caves if you’re limited in time.

The most convenient way to go to the island is by flight from Seoul. From the island, there’re also flights to Busan which is a logical next destination after your stay on Jeju.
