Yalta is a spot to stay if you want to enjoy some beach, tourism, but also if you like culture and history. Most import sight of Yalta is the Swallow’s Nest. This is a decorative castle on a cliff. Next important stop is the big Voronstov palace with its gardens.
The Livadia Palace just outside Yalta is famous for the Yalta conference which was one the events which resulted at the end of the Second World War with Germany. During this conference the post-war situation with Germany was discussed by the Soviet Union, United Kingdom and the United States.
