Byblos and Batroun
Byblos is famous for the ruins and is one of the places where people live already for thousands of years. This is what you see at the ruins which you can visit. The village itself is well prepared for tourism, nice to wander around and is a good place to stay outside Beirut for one night.
From Bylos it’s about 20 minutes by public transport to Batroun which you can visit also a couple of hours. This place is much quieter and I was not too impressed.
