Things to do in Bizerte
Bizerte is located in northern Tunisia. This city has an atmospheric old port which is surrounded by traditional white houses. Next to the harbor’s quay are the old medina and the kasbah. It is nice to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere of the harbor and its surroundings. Next to the old port are some restaurants which offer some decent lunch options.
Connections
You can stay overnight in Bizerte, but another option is to take a public bus (louage) from Tunis. This journey takes about one hour. From the bus terminal, you can walk in about 30 minutes to the centre and the old port.
